Incidentally, and still on the same subject, Intelligence Squared is holding a debate on Trident next Tuesday at the Royal Geographical Society. I am speaking in support of Trident, on the same side as Sir Michael Quinlan, former Permanent Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence, and Sir Malcolm Rifkind, former Tory Defence and Secretary and Foreign Secretary. There appear still to be tickets left for the event.
